Fair Employment Week Pub Event

As part of celebrating CAUT's Fair Employment Week a group of us have organized this event to come together and commit to better job security, a decent living, academic freedom, and an office space for all post-secondary employees. We hope this event will give us a chance to get to know each other and build stronger networks.

We invite our members to join us to celebrate this campaign and the work we are doing to achieve better working conditions for all our members. Appetizers and one drink ticket included.

This event takes place on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish Nations of Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish.

Accessibility:

• The venue is wheelchair/mobility accessible. Please use the entrance via the hotel if you need elevator access.
• While we would love to offer childcare for this event it is beyond our means at this time. The venue is licenced to allow children with a parent/guardian before 10pm so young folks can attend if needed.
• Unfortunately the main venue washrooms are binary gendered but there is a single unit washroom available.
• ASL interpretation has not been arranged for the event. If you require ASL interpretation please contact us and we will seek to find a solution.
• The venue is close to skytrain, bike lanes, and parking lots.
• We encourage folks to consider using scent-free products.
